Today we live in a world surrounded and absorbed by technology, with a number of variables depending on the use we want to give and the use we want to carry out. Therefore, most users accept these new advances as something beneficial and useful to facilitate their daily work, leisure and communication, but there are also others who are reluctant to adopt them, due to ignorance or because they don´t want to face something new and unknown. In these cases there is what can be called as "the digital divide", which marks a differentiation between one and other users.

The evolution of technology has modified our concept of person and is even conditioning our way of thinking. All this through the various social networks that the Internet gives us, being often reaped by this virtual reality.

As I said before, technology is used for a benefit to ourselves, but its excessive or inappropriate use can be elusive for children, youth and adults. Today, the concept of a person is dangerously linked to that of a digital profile, which means that what worries many people most is which implies that what most concerns many people is what their image will be or what monitoring and acceptance they have on social networks.

Because there is no complete transparency in social networks, worrying circumstances arise when profiles are created that do not show the true identity of the person behind, but rather double personalities emerge for real and digital life, being a fact and very frequent reality today of which we must be gently careful.

We must not abuse the tools that technology gives us, technology, as such, is a good thing and favors the human being in it's communicative and educational component but the bad thing is the inappropriate use we can make of it.
